AwxDTools
is a Windows Shell-Extension for the Daemon-Tools. It extends the context-menu
of ImageFiles supported by Daemon-Tools. (i.e.: *.cue, *.iso, *.ccd ...)
To mount an ImageFile: |
In Explorer, right-click on the Image-File you whish to mount,
and choose: |
To unmount an ImageFile: |
In Explorer, right-click on any Image-File, hold CTRL and choose:

To unmount all currently |
In Explorer, right-click on any Image-File, and choose: |

1. Important information
* If you don't get a submenu "Mount Image..." in any image context menu you have to restart the explorer or/and disable the LockDLL option (see below)
* If you get an error like "component not found" or "cannot load DLL" you have to disable the LockDLL option (see below).
Disable the LockDLL option:
You should disable AutoLock and LockDll option from Daemon-Tools to allow AwxDTools
to work.
If you've installed DaemonUI go to the settings Page and disable AutoLock and
Lock DLL.
Otherwise right click the Daemon-Tools-Icon select option and Autolock if it
is marked and then again right click the Daemon-Tools-Icon select option and
LockDLL if it is marked.
2. Repair installation
If any Disk-Image Software (i.e.: WinImage, WinISO ...) is installed after
Daemon-Tools-Shell-Extension, it might be nessesary to reregister the DLL with
the following command:
regsvr32 "pathtoinstallation\awxDTools.dll"
Replace pathtoinstallation with the path in which the application
is installed on your harddisk.
You also can reinstall the shell extension.
This application has been tested under WIN9x/ME/2000/XP.
It requires the installation of the Daemon-Tools-2.41 or newer.
